Membership in the Chamber of Commerce provides certain privileges and honors given no others. The Elizabethtown Area Chamber of Commerce brings together all three local municipalities, Elizabethtown College, Masonic Villages, and the Elizabethtown Area School District with large companies, service businesses, manufactures, nonprofit agencies, and small restaurants and retail stores all for the betterment of the Elizabethtown area. As a member you have a seat at the table where key decisions about ETown are made, you can influence our future.
Key features in the area include:
- Elizabethtown College – A private college with a beautiful treelined campus and a motto we live by— Educate for Service—Etown is a place for people who feel the pull to contribute to the world. It currently has over 2,000 Fulltime students.
- Masonic Village – Retirement living in Elizabethtown is unlike anything you’ve ever seen. Discover how Masonic Village offers a nod to the past and a glimpse of the future. Surrounded by 1,400+ acres of Lancaster County farmland, you set the pace of your lifestyle amidst Masonic Village’s abundance of amenities and activities. Each day brings exciting opportunities. Today might be a good day to learn a new hobby like bocce, painting, photography or explore one of 30+ other clubs. Over 2,000 active seniors in this upscale community and the campus offers other levels of living.
- Stone Gables – Stone Gables Estate is home to Ironstone Ranch, The Star Barn Village and St. Michael’s Vineyard, three exquisite venues that sprawl over 275 acres of scenic vistas and trails, including a working horse ranch. The barns and their historic beauty date back to the 1800’s, offering an all-inclusive setting for your weddings and corporate events. Coming in 2023 it will be home of the National Christmas Center, Stone Gables Estate purchased the entire Christmas collection, one of the largest collections of historical Christmas memorabilia in the United States. The National Christmas Center will be housed in 40,000 S.F. of the future restored Barns of Belmont.
- Train Station – Elizabethtown offers daily Amtrak train service between Harrisburg and Philadelphia, and beyond to Pittsburgh and New York City, It has a one of the top daily ridership along the entire line and is the only stop between Harrisburg and Philadelphia where every train stops.
- Vibrant Downtown – unique shops and great restaurants can be found throughout the community but they are concentrated within our downtown providing a unique small-town shopping experience.
